Webinar: Hidden Homelessness and the 2016 Coordinated PiT Count

In 2016, communities across Canada participated in the first-ever nationally coordinated homeless count. As part of the Canadian Observatory on Homelessness’ Point-in-Time Count Toolkit, we hosted a webinar on including hidden homelessness in the 2016 Coordinated Count. While hidden homelessness—such as couch surfing—is not typically captured by point-in-time counts, there are several benefits to surveying those who are experiencing it. This webinar covered several strategies to survey hidden homelessness, while providing an overview of common pitfalls and things to avoid.
