Coordinated Access 101
Coordinated Access is one way to ensure that individuals entering the homeless-serving sector do not slip between the cracks. It is part of systems planning that ensures that when an individual or family accesses a service, it is appropriate for them and their needs. If this is not the case, Coordinated Access allows for the communication and quick transferral of the individual or family to more appropriate services.
