The Homeless Individuals and Families Information System (HIFIS) release 4.0.60.1 includes a new Diversion module, a new Outreach & Encampment module, and an update for VI-SPDAT that includes version 3 for Adults and Families and version 2 for adults. It also includes a new Racial Identity question that can be captured under client vitals. 

This version of HIFIS also includes a variety of bug fixes and enhancements. Refer to the release notes for more information. 

The Reference Guide covers some best practices that communities can establish or reinforce to realize the full potential of HIFIS. It describes the new release 60.1 functionalities and provides instructions on how to use them. This guide is currently available in English only. A French version will be published shortly.
