This presentation describes a new paradigm for domestic violence shelter operations, with a focus on renewing shelter objectives, service models, policies, and practices. This new approach moves away from a traditional crisis response, questioning the premise of domestic violence shelters and suggesting an alternative model and approach to prevent violence.
