Systems Planning 101

Evidence-led systems planning has emerged as a leading approach in addressing homelessness. Systems planning is a process for reconfiguring how policy, resources, services and stakeholders involved can align efforts to affect the desired change. System planning using Housing First as a guiding philosophy is a method of organizing and delivering services, housing, and programs that co-ordinates diverse resources to ensure that efforts align with homelessness-reduction goals. In this webinar, we will be providing an overview of systems planning, examples of essential elements involved, and implementation guidance. The speakers are: Melanie Redman, President & CEO at A Way Home Canada; Dr. Stephen Gaetz, President & CEO at Canadian Observatory on Homelessness; Dr. Alina Turner, Turner Strategies.
