How Communities Can Utilize Coordinated Access for Systems Planning

Coordinated Access initiatives strive to effectively triage and match clients to services within their community as essential components of well-coordinated homeless-serving systems. In this webinar, Dr. Alina Turner (Turner Strategies) will provide an overview of CA Models and promising practices, with on-the-ground examples showing the diversity of approaches in practice. To this end, colleagues from Alberta will speak to local CA models, adaptations, and learnings. We will hear from: Kevin McNichol (Calgary Homeless Foundation), Susan McGee (Homeward Trust) Jaime Rogers (Medicine Hat Community Housing Society), Franklin Kutuadu (City of Red Deer). Amanda Buchnea (A Way Home) and Kaite Burkholder Harris (Canadian Observatory on Homelessness), will discuss how to bring a youth lens into Coordinated Access systems in order to further strengthen your community’s prevention efforts.
