PiT KiT 2024
This PiT-Kit provides a walkthrough of the stages of conducting Point-in-Time (PiT) Counts with people experiencing homelessness in Canadian communities. It provides simple, step-by-step instructions and key resources for understanding, planning, and carrying out PiT counts as well as analyzing and sharing results.
The PiT-KIT also serves as a quick reference to the fourth edition of the Everyone Counts: A Guide to Point-in-Time Counts in Canada. Developed by Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Canada, the Guide supports communities that participate in the nationally coordinated PiT Counts and those wishing to contribute to the national understanding of homelessness.
