Youth homelessness presents unique challenges and opportunities to service providers working with this population. Youth have specific needs due to navigating early stages of development, and increased vulnerability. Additionally, a majority of the adult homelessness population experienced various forms of housing precarity as youth. Specific programs and services catering to youth supports the youth of today and improves homelessness outcomes in the future.
