Prevention Matters is an ongoing webinar series hosted by the COH that was launched in January 2024. Its goal is to highlight homelessness prevention initiatives across the country and around the world, communicating about them in a clear, accessible format. These aren’t your typical webinars — audience participation is at the heart of the series, and there is always space for open dialogue among the panelists.

What are the systems changes and structural shifts which reduce the likelihood that someone will experience homelessness? What are the intervention strategies that can support people who are at high risk of homelessness or who have recently become homeless? How can we ensure that people who have experienced homelessness—and who are now housed—do not experience homelessness again? For all this and more, check out the sessions below.
